James Harnett is a developer and policy wonk from New Jersey who goes to school in the U.S. capital. In 2020, he will graduate with a B.A. in Computer Science and Political Science from George Washington University. James enjoys exploring America, is driven to improve the world with better policy and technology, and has a knack for appreciating how much dogs are humanity's best friend (sorry, cat people). He is currently a full-time university student and is looking for summer internships in 2018.

He is also the youngest elected official in Washington, DC serving as Commissioner-elect of Foggy Bottom for District 2A08.

James is certified in CPR/AED and first aid. He is native to English, limited proficient in Chinese, and learning Russian and French.
