An intern in the Office of Governmentwide Policy, James developed a new version of performance.gov, a White House website designed to share how the federal government is (or isn't) performing for the American people. He also organizes and leads meetings with federal agencies on how the government can create more accessible, transparent, and easy-to-use digital tools.

PERFORMANCE.GOV

Designed and developed a new version of performance.gov, a White House website designed to share how the federal government is (or isn't) performing for the American people, rebuilt to be a learning tool for the public. It launched on 12 February 2018 — a long-term replacement to the website is also being built alongside 18F.

cross-agency partnerships

Organized and lead meetings with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Office of Management and Budget, the US Department of Education, and the Library of Congress, on how the government can create more accessible and transparent digital tools.

THE TEAM

Lead a team of interns from across both coasts and in DC to rebuild performance.gov and collaborate on smaller projects.
